Hours:   Part-time (32 hours/week)

The High Risk Infant Interagency Council (HRIIC) is a parent/professional collaboration with the mission of ensuring that all children ages birth through five with disabilities and other special health care needs receive services in a timely and coordinated manner through interagency collaboration. HRIIC services and activities include convening interagency meetings to identify and address service access issues, providing case management for families of young children with or suspected of having a disability, and providing training and technical assistance. Funded through First 5 San Francisco, HRIIC is located at Support for Families of Children with Disabilities, which is the fiscal agent.  For more information visit the website at www.hriic.org

Position Description: The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support for the HRIIC staff to ensure timely and efficient implementation of all HRIIC services and activities.

Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Identifies and sets up venues for all HRIIC meetings and trainings
  • Coordinates the logistics for all HRIIC meetings and trainings
  • Monitors consultant contracts and coordinates travel logistics for consultants
  • Monitors all general communication to the HRIIC
  • Prepares and monitors required documentation for all activities and services
  • Develops and oversees production of HRIIC outreach and training materials
  • Prepares quarterly reports
  • Coordinates regular updates to the HRIIC Web site
  • Provides general clerical support for project staff

Qualifications:   NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, Publisher, and Access)
  • Experience working with a collaborative or project team
  • Demonstrated ability and experience working with staff and clients of varying cultures and backgrounds
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
