Eligibility for ServicesDepending on the law and their mandate, public agencies have varying eligibilty requirements. In San Francisco, the following agencies provide services for eligible children. San Francisco Community Behavioral Health Services (SFCBHS)Eligibility for children 0-21SFCBHS serves uninsured, under-insured, indigent, low income and impoverished and homeless populations. Mental health services are approved and provided based on individual clinical need. Support for Families of Children with Disabilities (SFCD)Eligibility for children 0-21SFCD is open to families of children of all ages with special health care needs, and to professionals. HRIIC Round TableEligibility for children 0-5Eligible children are those with special health care needs who have or are at increased risk for chronic physical, developmental, behavioral or emotional conditions, and who also require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that required by children generally. |
