The Multi-Agency Team

The Multi-Agency Team provides an opportunity for families to "problem-solve" with a team of agency representatives. Together, the family and team discuss coordination of services, problem-solve around particular issues and develop possible solutions to areas of concern. Team members can include representatives from Golden Gate Regional Center, San Francisco Unified School District, California Children Services, and Support for Families, among others. The team meeting is co-facilitated by the HRIIC Public Health Nurse and coordinator. Families leave the team meeting with an action plan for next steps.

Assistance is available for families interested in participating in the Multi-Agency Team, including:

  • Preparation before-hand for the meeting
  • Child care and interpretation services during the meeting
  • Flexibility in location and time of team meetings, based on a family's schedule
